We love to travel to all different places, and over the years have stayed at a bunch of hotels! See below for my reviews on some of the places we have stayed.
Hotel Reviews –
Hilton La Romana – Dominican Republic – I am obsessed with this resort. We have been there 3 times, and each time it gets better and better. The hotel rooms are clean, the staff is amazing and accommodating, and the beaches are beautiful. You don’t see many waves here, but the ocean is as clear as a swimming pool and you can float for hours. The Beach has sand volleyball, a food shack, a bar, and a fruit boat (where you walk up and order fresh cut fruit), and the pools have swim up bars, activities, and beautiful views in almost every spot. We definitely choose to do the Preferred Club here because you get butler service, access to some of the higher end drinks and restaurants, first priority for food reservations, and more. We will absolutely be coming back here every time we visit the Dominican Republic!

The Cliffs at Princeville – Kauai – Kauai is another one of my favorite places to go. My parents have had a timeshare here for as long as I can remember, so we have visited often. They have beautiful views, amazing rock pools, mini golf, shuffle board, pickle ball, a playground, and more! This is the perfect place to stay out of the city area and truly make your relaxing home away from home!

Dominican Republic – Dreams Onyx – We came here for a wedding, and we had a great time. We ended up getting a room with a swim out pool becuase my kids were young and they napped during the day. We LOVED that we did this! The beaches were nice, definitely not as clear of water as what we have seen in La Romana, but there were waves to play in and plenty of beach space. We loved the shows they had every night. There was anything from comedy, to karaoke, to elaborate productions from the staff. The food was all delicious, and the gym was amazing! The property is huge. Biggest bummer here is that the adult side had a lot of options with food, pools, club/night life, that we could not ever even see because we had the littles! It sort of seemed like we were restricted from half of the amenities. That said, there was plenty to do and we had a great time!
